We planted carrot seeds back in spring and decided this week it was time we found out if they had grown
Although they looked pretty bad on top, the caterpillars had seen to that, we were hoping they were ok underneath.
The children took it in turns to pull up the carrots.
Okay we did also have some very odd shaped carrots!
You don’t get twisty carrots in the supermarket!
We fed what was left of the carrot tops to the guinea pigs.
and the children peeled their own carrots.
Well they were definitely crunchy!
And they got the thumbs up from the children:-)
