I’ve found another use for our tree cookies 🙂
As well as small world play and construction, I thought we could also use them for threading and lacing. I had to wait until hubbie went out though, so I could use his drill!
I used some of our tree blocks…
…and also our cookies.
I added leather shoe laces for threading.
K started off with the cookies…
…but the blocks were definitely his favourite this time.
The blocks proved to be just the right size for little hands.

Think I might need to find a way to make this a bit more challenging for him!
He even managed the tiny blocks without difficulty!
These were really easy to make and free, apart from the laces which were only £2 🙂
