All the normal resources were still available for the children
Peeling the stickers proved great for developing small motor skills in the little ones.
Success!
The children selected the felt pens instead of the pens I had put on the table to use.
Here she has been deliberate in her mark-making, at one point in the activity choosing to make marks only on the sticker.
Some found their own way to explore the resources!
During the activity the children were particularly fascinated with removing and then replacing the lids of the pens – again this is great for small motor development. They had to really focus on what they were doing to get the lids back on the pens, but they removed and replaced them over and over.
They explored the stickers for a while then selected additional resources to add to the activity.
Stickers and glue were both popular choices.
Some of their finished work.
