My daughter is in love with her new darling little hand bag and loves to tell people what it is made from! Who knew a salt container could be so cute?
Emma peeled off the label on the salt container and made sure all the salt was out while I gathered a few other materials.
Next (grown-up step) I used an x-acto knife to cut a small opening in the container.
Each side got two holes with our hole punch. This was for our handles.
We added a pipe cleaner to each side, twisting them on the inside of the container.
Now for the fun! Emma used washi tape and markers to make this purse exactly how she wanted it.
She filled it with jewels, coins and toy phones and was on her way to an afternoon of pretend fun!
